The paper titled “Characterizations of a Spacetime of Quasi-Constant Sectional Curvature and F(R)-Gravity” led by ITU Mathematics Engineering faculty members Prof. Dr. Füsun Özen Zengin and Prof. Dr. Sezgin Altay Demirbağ was published in Fortschritte der Physik.

In this study, they investigate a spacetie of quasi-constant sectional curvature. At first, they establish that the existence of such a spacetime by several examples and they show this spacetime agrees with the present state of universe. They concentrate on this spacetime solution in F(R)-gravity and studying energy conditions, they analys our obtained outcomes in terms of a F(R)-gravity model.
