Mathematical Engineering Student Club

mbkThe Mathematics and Computer Club (MBK) was established in 1996 by students with the aim of contributing to the development of undergraduate students in the fields of mathematics and computer technologies. MBK serves as a bridge between students and department alumni by organizing events that bring students together with graduates so that they can gain knowledge about the sector and the department. In addition, MBK supports prospective students by communicating with them through social media accounts, answering their questions, and providing detailed information about the department.

MBK carries out voluntary promotional activities in high schools with the mission of introducing a wider audience of prospective students. It communicates with newly admitted students and shares information about course schedules, course content, and other departmental matters, while also organizing events on highly popular topics such as Erasmus, double major, and minor programs. Taking into account the demands of department students, MBK provides academic support during exam periods by forming study groups with the assistance of volunteer students. It also supports students’ career development by sharing announcements related to internships, educational opportunities, and job postings. MBK aims to increase and diversify the employment opportunities available to department graduates by undertaking initiatives to promote in various sectors. In addition, it plans activities open to the general public and broad audiences in order to increase awareness of the concept of Mathematical Engineering.
